This section of the CMS will be named similar to [Your Organisation] Admin. It will be where you can set things such as global bulletins and feature panels and also include custom functionality depending on the needs of your organisation.


FEATURE PANELS


Content such as feature panels, sponsors, and event artists can be re-used many times over on multiple pages therefore having a central repository provides a convenient interface to maintain these.


To create a new feature panel, press the "Add Feature Panel" button in the Feature Panels tab:



At minimum, the Title and Main Image must be provided for feature panels to work as intended. The panels can be further enhanced by optionally providing the Suffix, and Description. Feature panels can also be linked to internal or external page, or a file by filling out the Link to page or file field.


Once a feature panel is created, it can be used in pages via the Feature Panel content block.

Feature panels can be used in multiple pages so you can avoid duplicating content.


GLOBAL ALERT

Global alerts are the dismissible messages which appear on the top of every page or a selection of pages on the website. It can be used in scenarios such a notifying users of a payment processor outage, of an audition sign up deadline, venue closer, or any other information.


How a global alert will appear on a page:


Multiple alerts can appear at any time, and each alert can be dismissed using the close button. The dismissals are remembered for a year or until the user clears their cookies, so the same alert is not shown once dismissed.



VENUE

The venue page allows for setting images, addresses and information that will be pulled by the Venue panel.



New venues can be added and each venue can be updated with information such as an image.
