Delivery Methods

Click the ‘Ticketing’ tab in the taskbar, located at the top of the page.
From here, head to the ‘Delivery Method Control’ link in the menu located on the left side of the page.
You will be redirected to the Delivery Method page, which looks like the screenshot below.

From this page you can:

  • Add new delivery methods This allows you to create a new delivery method.
  • Edit current delivery methods Edit current delivery methods. Change the description, ticketing system id, and the method rules.
  • Delete current delivery methods Lets you remove a current delivery method.
Delivery methods provide you with the ability to enter the various aspects of your rules.

Description: Delivery method description

Ticketing system id: This is the id of the delivery method that is set in Tessitura.

Rules
These are the rules that will apply to this delivery method.

Status: This can be set to ‘Available’ (method will be available only if criteria is matched),
‘Unavailable’ (method will be unavailable if criteria is matched),
or ‘Is Default’(method will be pre-selected on delivery screen if the criteria is matched and it’s one of available methods).
The selected attribute will apply to those items that follow this rule.
i.e with ‘Unavailable’ set: Items that match the criteria will not have this shipping method available.

Criteria: You can select criteria that need to be matched to trigger that rule

Value: Specific values individual for each criteria i.e performances ids, price type ids etc.

Delete Rule: This simply allows you to remove the rule detailed above the button.

Add Rule: Allows you to add an extra rule.

Examples

‘Unavailable’

When the status ‘Unavailable’ is selected;
  • ‘Performances within x days’, selected from the Criteria list
  • With the specific values, input into the Values box
delivery method will be unavailable for selection.

In this instance:
‘Post’ will be unavailable for performances within the next 30 days.

'Available’

When the status ‘Available’ is selected;
  • ‘Performances’, selected from the Criteria list
  • With the specific values, input into the Values box
delivery method will be available for selection.

In this instance:
‘Print at Home’ (PAH) will be available only for performances with defined ids:
8050, 8051, 8052, 8060, 8062, 8062...

'Is Default’

When the status ‘Is Default’ is selected:
  • A ‘Ticket Count Greater Than’, selected from the Criteria list
  • With the specific value, input into the Values box
will have this as the default delivery method.

In this instance:
‘Collect on Box Office’ (COBO) will be the default delivery method for people with more than 800 tickets in their basket.
